9 Tunisian startups, "promising internationally" selected for an acceleration program
Out of 100 international startups, including 25 from the Africa Middle East region, 9 Tunisian startups were selected as part of the BigBooster program.
International non-profit acceleration program from 4 continents (America, Africa, Asia, Europe), BigBooster relies on a collaborative platform of public and private partners to promote innovative and promising early-stage startups to internationally.
Among the 100 selected startups are the following young Tunisian companies: AUMED, DigitUs, Katomi, Next Gen Corp., Proven Med International, Tripopt, Wattnow, WinShot and Epilert.
Selected in the category "Global Impact", the startup AUMED offers street vendors innovative tricycles (reverse trike) meeting their needs with all the necessary arrangements and financial credit.
Classified in "Informative Tech / High Tech", DigitUs' mission is to build a peer-to-peer platform that allows people and objects to exchange value instantaneously and securely in a regulated sector.
Three companies were selected in the "Bio & Health / E-health" category, Katomi, Next Gen Corp and Epilert. The first develops a product that uses artificial intelligence to help doctors manage and organize medical photos during exams. The second is working on interactive applications to support patients through psychological and physical challenges to improve their life skills. Finally, Epilert develops a portable device that detects and monitors epileptic seizures and alerts doctors and relatives in case of crisis.
Proven Med International, has distinguished itself in the category "Bio & Health / Biotech", thanks to an innovative medical system in the field of urinary incontinence through a flagship product "ActiveGo".
One of the companies in the field of "Informative Tech / B2C solutions", Tripopt is an application that allows travelers to move intelligently by helping them to organize an efficient and personalized itinerary according to their personal preferences.
